The pandemic has caused us to see ourselves in a different light. And by that, I mean the blue light shooting off our screens for eight hours every day. It’s tough to stare at yourself for hours each day on Zoom without overanalyzing every tiny crease on your face, or the Corpse-Bride-vibes your eye bags are sending through the screen.

During these times, we’ve become less concerned with what we’re wearing below the belt, hello, joggers, and far more concerned with what we can put on our faces to achieve that dewy, youthful glow naturally and ethically. Enter: BEAUTOLOGY LAB’s clean-as-can-be 24K Gold Collagen Eye Masks.

I’ve always been an eye mask girl because, for some pesky reason, whenever I look into the mirror the first thing I see are the dark circles beneath my eyes. They have become a constant reminder of how much energy my dachshund wakes up with at 5:30AM every morning, and also how much Real Housewives I’ve been watching nightly. Regardless, most mornings I need a boost to feel and look like my best self. And that is where BEAUTOLOGY LAB comes in.

BEAUTOLOGY LAB is a Miami Beach based skincare company that popped onto the scene in 2019, out of the necessity, to bring health and wellness to the skincare world. Anyone with sensitive skin can attest to how sketchy ingredients have the ability to wreak havoc on the skin and ruin your entire week, that’s why BEAUTOLOGY LAB keeps it simple. Their 24K Gold Collagen Eye Masks are now one of my capsule products because I have experienced zero irritation when using them, and they always get my skin glowing for that 8:15AM meeting.

Their eye masks are free of parabens, sulfates, phthalates, formaldehyde, petroleum derived chemicals, and artificial dyes or fragrances, and they come in a package of 12 individual pairs, which is extremely convenient for traveling. We will travel again at some point, so we need to be thinking about these things! I always feel puffy after a flight or a long drive, now I keep a pair of 24K Gold Collagen Eye Masks in all of my bags.

BEAUTOLOGY LAB’s eye masks are ultra juicy, and I notice immediately how my entire face appears hydrated, luminous, and far less puffy after using them. Since these masks are juicy and full of delicious serum combining nano-active gold, hydrolyzed collagen, vitamin C, and hyaluronic acid, I have noticed that it is most ideal to wash my face and pat it dry completely prior to using them. Not to mention, one of the best parts about this product is that they are vegan and cruelty-free!

When traveling, you may want to swipe your face with a natural toner pad before applying the masks. Then again, I have fairly oily skin, so this may not be an issue for everyone. Another pro tip I’ve picked up since using the 24K Gold Collagen Eye Masks is to throw them in the fridge for an extra uuumph. The cooling sensation feels so amazing, it could even replace the need for that (second) latte.

These 24K Gold Collagen Eye Masks feel like an absolute treat, I’ve loved using them as a quick fix any time of day, whenever my skin feels drab and tired. They have become a great addition to my self-care routine.
